Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in manufacturing environments. Candidates should possess familiarity with CNC equipment, blueprint reading, and mechanical tools to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machines, with precision.
- Set up and program machinery.
- Ensure accurate production.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machinery such as Fanuc controllers and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure product specifications are met.
- Utilize forklift and warehouse experience to move raw materials and finished products efficiently.
- Assist with assembly, packaging, and warehousing tasks as needed to support production flow.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment.
Skills
- Proficiency with CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Experience in the food industry an asset
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control procedures.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including assembly, packaging, and use of hand tools.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for candidates eager to apply their technical skills in a dynamic manufacturing setting while contributing to high-quality production standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$25.23 per hour
