Job Summary

I am seeking a Master of Social Work to provide clinical services in my clinic. I am a psychologist with college designations in neuropsychology and rehabilitation. Social workers have formed part of my interdisciplinary team for 34 years. The social worker would interact largely with the psychologist, patients and other therapists, but would be part of a team that includes physician consultants. We work with adults with a range of clinical problems including mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, mild brain impairments, pain problems, and physical injuries/impairments.

Responsibilities

  • Social work services in our program largely involve delivering standard therapies (CBT, counselling, psychotherapy) that are adapted for our program. Other services typically include some progress report writing and some assessment components. I would provide training in our clinical protocols.

Experience

  • Master of Social Work and registration with the College of Social Workers of Ontario.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
