Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Student Intern based in Calgary, AB. The role involves collaborating with team members to support various projects, conducting research, assisting in the planning and execution of events, maintaining and updating social media platforms, and preparing written materials such as reports or promotional content. The intern will also contribute to administrative tasks and help with community outreach initiatives related to sports and physical activity.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including creating reports, promotional content, and updates
  • Basic research skills and ability to analyze and interpret information effectively
  • Experience with social media management and digital content creation
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate and adapt to new tasks
  • Passion for community-building and an interest in sports and physical activity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with graphic design or other digital tools is an asset
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Sports Management, Communications, Marketing, or related fields
