Korhani Law is seeking a full-time Family Lawyer in Barrie.

The successful candidate must have strong work ethic, pay keen attention to detail, and have a clear understanding of the value in providing excellent client service. A great attitude and emphasis on client experience is a must.

The lawyer's responsibilities include: the ability to work independently, draft and analyze financial statements and financial disclosures, draft correspondence and court documents, including orders, Applications, Answers, Briefs, and other basic procedural forms, correspond with opposing counsel, opposing parties and court offices, understanding of the Family Law Rules and local practice directions. Our office deals with vulnerable individuals that have escaped abusive relationship. Being sensitive and compassionate is a must.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a family lawyer in Ontario.

You will work from home. Some court appearances are in person and we attend in Barrie, Orillia and Midland. The successful candidate would need to ensure that they can commute to those locations.

This is a salary position. We do not have the option of split commission.

The candidate must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
