Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Civil Drafter to join our team in a hybrid role based in Surrey, BC, with some flexibility for remote work. The Civil Drafter will collaborate with engineers and project teams to create efficient and accurate technical drawings and layouts for civil engineering projects. Core responsibilities include interpreting project specifications, producing detailed engineering and construction drawings, and updating plans based on project developments. The role requires adherence to industry standards and a focus on quality assurance throughout project development.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with the ability to create technical drawings and designs
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, land development processes, and regulatory standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting project requirements and specifications
• Attention to detail, quality assurance, and experience with drawing revisions
• Team collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and other stakeholders
• Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field
• Familiarity with municipal standards and land development projects in British Columbia is an asset
