Shoveller

DR. Snow is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our winter operations team. This position plays an important role in supporting our snowblowing routes, ensuring our customers receive safe and professional service throughout each storm.

This role includes completing shovelling services at assigned properties as well as providing support to our equipment operators when needed. Support duties may include delivering parts or supplies to broken-down machines and stepping in as a backup operator when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple assigned properties to complete walkway and step shovelling
• Assist operators by delivering parts, fuel, or supplies during storm operations
• Serve as a backup operator when additional manpower is required
• Follow scheduled routes and maintain communication with dispatch
• Uphold company service standards and maintain a professional customer experience

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions for extended periods
• Physically capable of shovelling and walking in deep snow
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Mechanical knowledge or equipment experience is an asset, but not required.

• Storm-based scheduling, including evenings, nights, and early mornings
