Toronto ON MS B, Canada The Taxperts Group Full time

The Tax Clerk position is an Administrative position but requires a candidate with bookkeeping and tax preparation knowledge. Only applicants with CANADIAN tax experience/bookkeeping will be considered

Qualifications:

  • At least one year experience in tax preparation and bookkeeping
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Profile ,Taxprep or Quickbooks software is a definite asset
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Follow existing procedures

Responsibilities will include:

  • Interacting directly with clients
  • Answering telephones
  • Scheduling appointments and preparing client files
  • Assembling/Uploading a large number of tax returns
  • Manage the client portal
  • Additional administrative functions as required
  • Bookkeeping / Tax preparation may be assigned
