We are looking for motivated Metal Cladders and Skilled Labourers to install and service a variety of exterior prefabricated products, including aluminum composite panels, cementitious panels, foam insulated metal panels, corrugated cladding, siding, and wood composite panels at commercial and institutional properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installation
  • Install air/vapor membranes using rollers and applicators
  • Measure, cut, and install z-bar sub-girts using hand and power tools
  • Install, repair, and service exterior prefabricated panels and siding
  • Coordinate with other trades and management as required
  • Load and unload materials on-site

Requirements

  • No formal education required
  • Comply with all on-site and company safety regulations (OH&S Act and Regulations)
  • Participate in company safety culture, including tailgate meetings and safety activities
  • Physically fit and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Team player, punctual, and proficient in spoken English
  • Driver's license may be required
  • Must own steel-toed safety boots
  • Comfortable working at heights

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience installing building envelope products is an asset
  • On-site product-specific training provided

Working Conditions

  • Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, minimum 9-hour days
  • 1-hour lunch break (0.5 hours paid)
  • Exposure to noise, dirt, and outdoor conditions (winter cold and summer heat)
  • Fast-paced environment; attention to detail is an asset
  • Projects located throughout the Edmonton area; having your own vehicle is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
