Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that vehicles are repaired efficiently and effectively. If you have dealership experience and are proficient with both hand and power tools, we want to hear from you.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on various automotive systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
  • Utilize schematics to assemble and disassemble parts as needed
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options
  • Assist in heavy lifting tasks related to vehicle repairs and maintenance

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanic experience, preferably in a dealership setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose complex issues
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Experience reading schematics for assembly and repair tasks
  • A commitment to safety protocols in the workplace
