Are you a skilled Kitchen Supervisor ready to take the next step in your career? Bready Cafe is opening a new location at Vaughan Mills, and we're looking for a full-time Kitchen Manager to lead our BOH team. This is an opportunity to learn, grow, and advance with a company that values extensive training and internal promotion. You'll be stepping into a leadership role where you can oversee daily kitchen operations, uphold high food quality and safety standards, and mentor a dedicated kitchen staff. If you're eager to expand your skills and grow into a management position, we want to hear from you
Qualifications

- Attitude & Growth Mindset: Positive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities. You're eager to grow with the company, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement. At Bready, we believe that attitude always beats aptitude, just like hard work always beats talent.

- Problem-solving skills: You can handle last-minute challenges in the kitchen.
- Leadership Skills: You have excellent leadership and communication skills. Able to motivate, direct, and support a kitchen staff to work as an efficient team. Experience in training or coaching team members is a huge plus.

- Food Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Valid Food Handler Certification is required.
- Availability: Open availability for full-time hours. Willingness to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead & Support Staff: Lead the kitchen team during service, providing guidance and support. Coordinate staff duties, delegate tasks, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
- Oversee Kitchen Operations: Supervise daily food prep and cooking activities to ensure smooth, efficient service and timely, quality output.
- Train & Develop: Train and mentor kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, hygiene practices, and recipe preparation. Foster a culture of continuous learning and teamwork so that everyone performs at their best.
- Maintain Cleanliness & Safety: Manage kitchen cleanliness and organization, enforcing strict sanitation and food safety standards at all times. Ensure compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet our quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion size. Monitor cooking times and food temperatures to guarantee every plate is prepared and served correctly.
