Senior ServiceNow Developer
to support enterprise IT initiatives and This role requires deep hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, platform development, integrations, and Agile delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow ITSM platform solutions.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather and review requirements (user stories, use cases, workflows).
- Assess suitability of ServiceNow modules and components for business needs.
- Create architectural concepts, rapid prototypes, and proof-of-concepts.
- Develop and configure new modules, applications, enhancements, and integrations with third-party tools.
- Build ATF tests, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Deliver sprint-based features including design, development, testing, and demos.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow ServiceNow best practices for scalable platform growth.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in IT or related field.
- 7+ years of recent ServiceNow platform development experience.
Additional Skills
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules.
- Hands-on experience with ATF, Dashboards, Reporting.
- Expertise in JavaScript, Java, HTML.
- Experience in integrations with REST/SOAP APIs and 3rd-party systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum.
- Platform migrations/implementations experience.
Preferred / Assets
- Located in Ottawa (Hybrid).
- Bilingual English/French.
- Public sector experience.
- ServiceNow Certifications: CIS, CAD, CSA.
