The Opportunity:

VetWise is expanding and seeking passionate remote Veterinarians to join our growing team in Alberta As a member of our network, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work according to your own schedule. Whether you want to provide care in your spare time or are seeking casual, part-time or full-time opportunities, this position allows you to practice veterinary medicine while enhancing access to care for pet owners and alleviating the workload for hospitals.

Your Role:

  • Provide virtual consultations for pet owners across Alberta and other provinces (if applicable)
  • Collaborate with hospitals to support their patient needs
  • Opportunity to provide care for exotics if desired

Our Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
  • Unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in Alberta
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
  • A passion for improving access to veterinary care
  • Experience working with exotics is a major plus

Schedule

  • Casual, part-time and full-time positions available
  • Options for Monday-Friday, weekend, daytime, evening, and night shifts available

Location

  • Remote - Licensed in the province of Alberta

Compensation

  • From $120,000 annually
