UX Researcher:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a UX Researcher for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's Toronto office.

UX Researcher - Job Description:

The project involves overseeing and executing research projects specifically within TD insurance. The role is to cover maternity leave and involves collaboration with a well-balanced, collaborative team on impactful projects.

UX Researcher - Responsibilities:


• Collaborate with experience strategists, designers, and business stakeholders to understand and support their research needs


• Define research questions and create the research approach and participant recruitment plan


• Conduct design research methods including observation, ethnography, diary studies, user interviews, usability testing, and card sorting


• Utilize qualitative and quantitative approaches to analyze data collected


• Translate findings into easily understandable insights to drive ideation and inform design

UX Researcher - Mandatory Skills:


• Deep knowledge of and experience with User-Centered Design and Human Factors research methods


• Strong communication skills: written, oral, and graphical


• Strong project management skills with the ability to balance tasks spanning multiple studies


• Undergraduate degree in psychology, anthropology, computer science, industrial engineering, human factors, human-computer interaction, or a related field

UX Researcher – Nice-to-Have Skills:


• Graduate degree preferred


• FI industry experience


• Knowledge of inferential statistics and familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS)

UX Researcher – Assignment Length:

This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.

ASAP.

UX Researcher - Assignment Location:

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office, potentially increasing to 4 days later in the year.
