Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in skating and a commitment to educating and inspiring athletes of all ages. As a Coach, you will play a vital role in developing skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.

Duties

  • Educate athletes on ice skating techniques, strategies, and safety practices.
  • Develop training programs tailored to the needs of individual skaters and the team.
  • Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring that all athletes receive proper instruction and feedback.
  • Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and personal growth.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaching staff regarding training schedules, goals, and expectations.

Experience

  • Previous coaching experience in hockey or related sports is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of skating techniques, rules, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
  • A passion for teaching and developing the potential of each student.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
