Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:
Excellent organizational skills and time management. Demonstrated and effective communication skills. Ability to actively participate in a collaborative approach to meeting health goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
Specialty modules in Gerontology and Community Care preferred. Community Nursing experience preferred. Familiarity with computer applications: Internet, Microsoft Office, Connect Care training an asset. Experience in wound care, palliative care, HPT and client teaching.
