Job Description

SUBPAC Inc. is seeking a creative and analytical channel marketing and sales manager to help us expand our footprint in the retail channel, drive customer growth and extend our sales pipeline. In this customer-focused position, you'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring retailer specific marketing plans, promotions and accounts. In addition, you'll be a steward of the SUBPAC brand across all our retail and e-tail channels.  As part of the sales & marketing team, you'll work directly with our sales partners and reseller accounts to drive awareness, sell-through and market share for SUBPAC products worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the retail marketing strategy for SUBPAC including budget and key priorities, across accounts

  • Build retailer specific plans for account success including online and offline promotions, programs, merchandising, displays, contests, and training

  • Manage the development and implementation of in-store merchandising and displays, in accordance with brand guidelines and objectives

  • Uncover and help implement all training programs within assigned accounts

  • Drive ROI analysis to ensure our channel marketing programs provide maximum impact for our budget

  • Become an expert in our retail and etail partners' marketing approaches including developing relationships across their organizations and a deep expertise in their business drivers and operations

  • Become an expert in our consumer and understand their mindset and purchasing habits

  • Spearhead new and innovative retail programs that help define SUBPAC and our category-defining products

  • Manage specific projects as required by the team

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of retail channel marketing and sales experience, successfully introducing new products and growing sales

  • Love of music and solid understanding of audio, including music production.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented with an ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Analytical focus and comfortable developing forecasts and analyzing retail channel data

  • Should live in the greater Toronto area

  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Some travel required (Canada, U.S. & Europe)
