MARKETING ASSISTANT 

(Full-Time, Hybrid) 

We're looking for an entry-level Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager to join our team in Toronto.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for an entry-level Marketing Assistant to help bring our marketing ideas to life, with day-to-day marketing execution across email campaigns, copywriting, social media, and retail partner support.

This is a hands-on role focused on execution and coordination, ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn across multiple marketing disciplines.

This role requires in-office presence at our Toronto HQ a minimum of 2 days per week (typically Mondays and Tuesdays).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Email Marketing Support

• Assist with email campaign execution using Klaviyo.
• Draft, proofread, and QA email content to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
• Coordinate campaign scheduling and deployment under guidance.
• Support basic performance tracking and reporting as needed.
  
  

Copywriting & Content Support

• Write and edit marketing copy for:
  • Website pages
  • Digital ads
  • Product packaging
  • Blogs
  • User manuals and instructional content
• Update and refine existing content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy as needed.
• Follow established brand voice and messaging guidelines.
  
  

Social Media Support

• Assist in planning and maintaining the social media content calendar.
• Write short briefs or outlines for influencer content.
• Draft captions and post copy under direction.
• Help coordinate content assets and posting schedules.
  
  

Retail and Ecommerce Content Support

• Support product page maintenance for Nanoleaf e-comm channel (via Shopify) and for key retail partners, including Apple, Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon.
  
• Assist with updating brand content across channels, including copy, imagery, and specifications.
• Help conduct product page audits to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
  
  

Marketing & Campaign Support

• Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Support miscellaneous marketing tasks including coordination, asset updates, and documentation.
• Help maintain organization of marketing files and materials.

WHAT YOU ADD TO THE MIX

Experience

• 0–2 years of marketing, communications, or related experience (internships included)
  
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  
• Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms.
  
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content planning tools.
  
• Basic understanding of e-commerce or retail marketing (familiar with Shopify).
  
• Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc).
  
• Experience with Figma.
  
• Experience with basic video editing.
