Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency. This role is crucial in creating a positive work atmosphere and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process to build a strong team.
  • Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and best practices in food service and hospitality.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold our high standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant or bar area.
  • Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial transactions.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages employee engagement and development.

Skills

  • Proven experience in supervising staff within the food industry or hospitality sector.
  • Strong interviewing skills to identify potential team members who align with our values.
  • Knowledge of food service operations, including bartending experience is a plus.
  • Excellent team management abilities with a focus on motivating staff.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order management and reporting.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both staff and customers.
