The Impact You Will Have
The Compliance Supervisor oversees regulatory and safety compliance for the company's fleet operations. This role ensures all drivers, vehicles, and transportation activities meet federal, state/provincial, and company standards. The Compliance Supervisor will lead compliance staff, manage audits, monitor safety performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives that promote safe and lawful operations.
Location: Ajax, ON
Schedule: Monday - Friday
What You Will Do
Track and maintain trailer wash records.
Monitor and manage the on-site fuel system.
Respond to and assist with any spills; submit L3 reports to Corporate and file Incident Reports in the Environmental system.
Coordinate with Cannington when service is required.
Ensure PPE compliance for all staff and visitors.
Investigate and take action on any accidents, spills, or incidents occurring in the yard.
Order and organize supplies, including first aid materials and equipment.
Participate in monthly meetings (virtually or in person) for both Compliance Leads and the JHSC.
Conduct daily yard inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Ensure the gatehouse is adequately stocked with trailer seals.
Organize and maintain food safety temperature monitoring records.
Assist the DC Compliance and Safety team as required.
What You Will Bring
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels — from drivers to senior management.
Ability to work confidently across multiple systems and applications and learn new tools quickly.
A strong team player mindset, willing to step in and support others.
Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
1–2 years of related experience in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Warehouse operations.
High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
