Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to various situations. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing loss or theft, and ensuring a safe environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your role is vital in maintaining order and providing peace of mind through proactive security measures.

Duties

  • Conduct regular patrols of designated areas using surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
  • Enforce security protocols and access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry or activities.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, including providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities, security breaches, or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper protocol adherence.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies by monitoring for theft, vandalism, or other criminal activities.
  • Utilize surveillance technology and CCTV footage analysis to identify potential threats or irregularities.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining a vigilant security presence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong conflict management skills.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ongoing training in emergency response is preferred.
  • Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation and monitoring techniques.
  • Strong understanding of security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism.
  • Physical fitness suitable for patrolling large areas and responding quickly to incidents.
