Role Overview

Responsible for managing IT projects through all phases of the project life cycle, ensuring compliance with Cameco processes and delivering successful outcomes. This contract is for a year with potential of extension.

Location - Saskatoon

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IT project work across all phases:
    • Initiation
    • Detailed Planning
    • Execution
    • Monitoring & Control
    • Closure
  • Complete project status reports and documentation required for the client processes.
  •  
Project Management Activities
  • Build and manage project schedules; assign and track tasks for core team members.
  • Conduct project stand-ups and bi-weekly management updates.
  • Apply project management processes for:
    • Scope
    • Integration
    • Time
    • Cost
    • Risk
    • Quality
    • Human Resources
    • Communication
    • Procurement
  • Manage project issues, actions, risks, and key decision items.
 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven IT project management expertise (technical and people skills).
  • Proficiency in:
    • MS Project for the Web
    • Jira
    • SAP (for financial data access and reporting)
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
