Provide leadership for other Smoothie Masters as a senior go-to in store, provide support for management when a Manager is not present or requires additional assistance, all while upholding Body Energy Club standards, policy, and procedure.

Qualifications

  • 1 year's experience in food service OR experience at Body Energy Club as a Smoothie Master

Expectations

  • Demonstrate proficiency in all Smoothie/Juice Bar policies and procedures related to Body Energy Club.
  • Uphold all Body Energy Club standards relating to customer service, cleanliness, and personal conduct, and act a as a role model and coach for other Smoothie Masters.
  • Ensure customer needs are being met in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Ensure FoodSafe standards are being met at all times.
  • Provide coaching and correction as necessary related to Body Energy Club Smoothie/Juice bar policy and procedure.
  • Assist in meeting monthly targets and encouraging sales growth.

Duties

  • Pre-portion, create, and deliver smoothies with friendliness and efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, while maintaining cleanliness and FoodSafe standards.
  • Monitor staff behaviour and provide feedback to management as necessary.
  • Settle any customer concerns related to smoothies or smoothie orders where necessary and/or defer to management in more serious cases, providing feedback and suggestions on resolution.
  • Audit checklists daily while on shift, to ensure they are being completed correctly.
  • Monitor Smoothie/Juice Bar inventory, and notify an MOD or Manager of any low stock or deficiencies.
  • Place orders for all smoothie bar inventory accurately and track consumption.
  • Engage with staff in all related training and promotions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager

Minimum Job Requirements:

● Flexible schedule availability required for all applicants during business operations for 7 days a week from 7:00am – 10:30pm

● Full time hours can work between 32-40 hours a week

● Maintain constant punctual attendance and contribute to positive team morale

● Must be able to come in under short notice (i.e. on call situations)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

● Must possess good verbal and written communication skills

● Strong interpersonal skills

● Adapt and learn quickly to new products/recipes as business requires

● Possess the importance of maintaining a clean and sanitary environment

● Must be able to work under moderate supervision

● Able to perform repetitive and fast-paced work

● Passionate about Body Energy Club products and leading a healthy lifestyle (preferred)

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

● Work involves daily exposure to elements such as noise, dust, variety of food products ● Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks such as working blenders, knives, etc.

● Position requires the ability to be on your feet for a long-extended part of your day, moving equipment or product up to lbs.; reaching and kneeling daily ● Requires the ability to see, hear and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professional etiquette

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
