Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and the operation of heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will also be expected to perform routine inspections and minor repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Operate trucks to transport oilfild waste to various destinations in a timely manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
  • Perform minor automotive repairs as necessary to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
  • Experience in freight transportation preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic automotive repair skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
