Summary

Join Bulldog Generators as a Small Engine Generator Technician, where your skills will support the reliable operation of generators for our diverse clientele. You will play a key role in ensuring power systems run efficiently and dependably.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, service and repair residential and commercial generators to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
  • Conduct mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Assist with installation of new generator systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures.
  • Follow safety protocols during all repair and installation activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Work independently in the field with minimal supervision
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with small engine repair, electrical systems, and mechanical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (AC/DC)
  • Strong knowledge of schematics and diagnostic procedures.
  • Ability to operate hand tools & power tools.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in engine repair is preferred.
  • Own basic tools and a reliable multimeter
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license in good standings
