Role Description
This is an on-site, part-time role for a Cook, based in Ottawa, Ontario. As a Cook at COGIR Real Estate, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to specified menus and dietary requirements. Your day-to-day tasks include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food hygiene and safety standards, and preparing nutritionally balanced meals. You will collaborate with the team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of meals to the residents or clients.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills, including knowledge in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
Time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation and service
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience as a cook or similar role is preferred
Basic knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines is an asset
Valid food handler certification is required
A positive attitude and a passion for providing quality service
