Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Master Production Scheduler to oversee production planning and scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for aligning demand forecasts with production capacity, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring on-time delivery of products. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, ERP experience, and a continuous improvement mindset to support efficient, streamlined operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules to maximize efficiency and meet delivery commitments
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align scheduling priorities and operational requirements
  • Analyze production specifications, plant capacity, and inventory data to determine resource requirements
  • Monitor material availability and production progress, adjusting schedules as needed
  • Identify and resolve issues that may impact schedule adherence or order fulfillment
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, forecasts, and schedule updates for management
  • Communicate schedule status, risks, and changes to internal stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations
  • Forecast and manage budgets related to production scheduling activities

Qualifications

  • Experience in production scheduling or planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems
  • Solid understanding of supply chain, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
