Cafeteria Cook
to join our Cafeteria team in
Langley, BC

Reporting to the
Cafeteria Supervisor
, you will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and delivery of food and cooking activities for the Langley Office cafeteria, maintaining a high level of service and professionalism while supporting with safety and cleanliness.

You will be responsible for:

• Following recipes to execute menu items and specials, while ensuring food meets highest of quality standard set by the Cafeteria Manager.
• Participating in preparation of ingredients for execution of menu items.
• Providing customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the cafeteria, including kitchen and dining area.
• Assisting with inventory deliveries and kitchen setup.
• Supporting the catering of special events occurring within and outside of the cafeteria, as required.

You have:

• 1+ years of experience working in a restaurant or kitchen.
• Experience in a customer service focused role.
• The ability to lift 30-50lbs.
• Experience in cooking or food preparation is an asset.
• A Food Safe Certificate is an asset.
