The Role

We are seeking for an experienced SAP BTP Developer to join our team and help implement the latest SAP technology. The ideal candidate must have strong technical expertise, the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues, and be willing to work collaboratively to develop and deliver quality solutions.

Please note: We are looking for candidates with strong, hands-on experience and knowledge in development, not just conceptual or high-level familiarity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and maintain existing technical solutions in an integration context using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Use , Java, or Python to build BTP services/microservices.
  • Write reusable code, perform code reviews, and maintain documentation.
  • Monitor application health and debug complex issues across environments.
  • Work with SAP UI5 developers to connect frontend and backend components.
  • Create and execute unit tests or collaborate with QA on unit and integration testing strategies.
  • Participate in architecture decisions and propose improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of backend development experience, including:
    • 2+ years hands-on with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma, CAP, BTP services).
    • Solid experience with , Java/or Python is an important asset.
  • Familiar with SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Connector, and BTP Security (OAuth2).
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, K8s is a plus).
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills in distributed systems.
  • Experience with AI or Generative AI is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Knowing French is considered an asset. 
  • Experience with SAP Builds (SAP Build Process Automation, LowCode/NoCode), SAP AI Capabilies, Integration Suite is considered an asset.

Nous recherchons un développeur SAP BTP expérimenté pour rejoindre notre équipe et contribuer à la mise en œuvre des dernières technologies SAP. Responsabilités 

  • Développer de nouvelles solutions techniques et maintenir les solutions existantes dans un contexte d'intégration sur la SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Utiliser , Java ou Python pour créer des services/microservices sur BTP.
  • Écrire du code réutilisable, effectuer des revues de code et maintenir la documentation.
  • Surveiller la santé des applications et déboguer des problèmes complexes à travers différents environnements.
  • Collaborer avec les développeurs SAP UI5 pour connecter les composants frontend et backend.
  • Créer et exécuter des tests unitaires ou collaborer avec l'équipe QA sur les stratégies de tests unitaires et d'intégration.
  • Participer aux décisions d'architecture et proposer des améliorations.

Profil recherché 

  • Diplôme en informatique, en ingénierie ou expérience équivalente.
  • 7 ans ou plus d'expérience en développement backend, dont :
    • 2 ans minimum d'expérience pratique avec SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma, CAP, services BTP).
  • Maîtrise de , Java et/ou Python (un atout majeur).
  • Connaissance de SAP HANA, SAP Cloud Connector, et de la sécurité BTP (OAuth2).
  • Expérience avec le contrôle de version (Git), l'intégration/déploiement continu (CI/CD) et la conteneurisation (Docker, Kubernetes est un plus).
  • Solides compétences en débogage et optimisation des performances dans des systèmes distribués.
  • Une expérience avec l'IA ou l'IA générative est un atout important.
  • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome tout en collaborant efficacement en équipe.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication en anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral.
  • La connaissance du français est un atout.
  • Une expérience avec SAP Build (SAP Build Process Automation, LowCode/NoCode), les capacités IA SAP et Integration Suite est également un atout.
