Position Overview:

Suncoast Enclosures is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Contractor Builder to join our team in Ottawa. As a Contractor Builder, you will work alongside experienced builders to construct custom screen enclosures and other outdoor structures. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn, have a passion for hands-on work, and are committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of custom screen enclosures and other outdoor structures.

  • Follow blueprints, drawings, and written instructions to ensure accurate construction.

  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as aluminum and screen.

  • Ensure all work meets Suncoast Enclosures' quality standards and specifications.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff regarding project progress and any issues that arise.

  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous construction experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.

  • Basic understanding of construction principles and practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

  • Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Ottawa.

  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow within the company.

Pay: $60,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
