Nail Technician Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and body waxing, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services while ensuring a clean and sanitary environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
  • Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering personalized recommendations.
  • Upsell retail products to enhance clients' nail care routines and promote salon offerings.
  • Keep accurate records of services performed and products sold.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to provide the best possible service.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation practices, and body waxing procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally.

Pay: $17.20-$32.02 per hour
