Join our dynamic autobody shop team as a Shop helper and detailer, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional vehicle care In this role, you'll assist with various shop tasks, including cleaning, washing, and detailing cars. Your positive attitude and willingness to learn will contribute to a smooth workflow and satisfied customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry while developing valuable skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic autobody shop tasks such as cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized environment
  • Perform thorough car washes, including exterior washing, interior vacuuming, and window cleaning to enhance vehicle presentation
  • Support technicians by organizing parts in the shop
  • Maintain cleanliness of the shop by sweeping and wiping down certain areas of the shop
  • Help with light custodial tasks such as trash removal and restocking supplies
  • Drive company vehicles for errands or transporting vehicles when required

Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting moderate weights, and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of car washing and detailing techniques is a plus; training will be provided for specific shop procedures
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

This is a entry level position and we are willing to support the right candidate grow in the automotive industry through paid training and hands-on learning opportunities. The starting wage is $ with advancement opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
