Customer Service Carnivore Wanted

Our busy butcher shop and deli is on the hunt for a Customer Service Carnivore — someone with good vibes, a big smile, and a serious love of food.

If you think helping people find their perfect meat treat sounds like a good time, you might just be our kind of human.

At Chop N Block, we blend self-serve with full-service charm. Many of our products have stories worth telling (and tasting), so your knack for describing mouth-watering meats and artisanal charcuterie will make all the difference.

Your day-to-day might include:

  • Greeting customers and helping them find exactly what they didn't know they needed
  • Guiding folks through their meaty decisions — from the right roast to the best salami for date night
  • Sharing the scoop on featured products and local specialties
  • Assembling orders placed in-store, online, or by phone/email (yes, people still do that)
  • Helping with opening, closing, and keeping the shop looking sharp
  • Processing payments and keeping things running smoothly
  • Slicing deli platters worthy of applause
  • Lending a hand to our butchery and culinary teams when needed

What we're looking for:

  • Available between 8:30 AM – 7:15 PM, up to 40 hours per week
  • Ready to work some holidays (that's when the magic happens)
  • Physically capable — on your feet for 8 hours and lifting 30+ lbs is part of the gig
  • Most importantly: passionate about great food, great people, and great vibes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
