WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Responsible for managing resident requests and engaging in proper follow-up to ensure work orders are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to develop long-term relationships with our valued residents.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance for all building equipment including but not limited to boilers, HVAC, general plumbing systems, and minor electrical including plugs, switches, and lights.
  • Work independently to complete minor renovations including painting, drywall, mudding, and taping.
  • Perform routine repairs such as exterior door adjustments, hinges, and locks.
  • Have a safety-first attitude by completing all requested training by deadline and focus on maintaining a clean and safe job site and the ability to identify risks and hazards.
  • Maintain accurate details of work orders, boiler checks, snow logs, etc. using our various systems and applications.
  • Deliver and remove materials and appliances, assisting with installation and disposal of any other unneeded materials as required.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance to building systems and conduct regular inspections.
  • Be available for scheduled On Call and respond to emergencies as required.
  • Other duties as required.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • 3-5 years' experience in general maintenance and repairs in a residential or commercial environment.
  • A technology-savvy skillset with the ability to work within multiple programs and systems at the same time via mobile phone. Experience using Yardi (maintenance), Site Photo's, and Kronos would be an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to meet Resident needs.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Must be able to supply your own tools and CSA steel-toed boots.

  • Mandatory requirement to be clean shaven to wear a respirator as required.

  • A valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle.

  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and be part of the On Call Rotation.
  • Must complete & pass a criminal record check.
