Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in sewing/manufacturing to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Machine Operator will play a vital role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the production line.

Responsibilities

  • Follow manufacturing and processing procedures, set machine or equipment controls, carry out production and inspection processes
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools
  • Mark, record, and report defective products
  • Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
  • Lubricate, clean, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools
  • Closely monitor machines for signs of problems while ensuring output is meeting set specifications
  • Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sewing / manufacturing is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with industrial equipment are advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. This position is integral to our production process, requiring a proactive approach and commitment to quality and safety standards. We welcome candidates eager to develop their skills within a supportive team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
