Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Helper to support our warehouse and manufacturing operations. This role involves assisting with various logistical, mechanical, and manual tasks to ensure smooth workflow and efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse equipment, heavy lifting, and basic mechanical knowledge, contributing to a safe and productive environment.

Duties

  • Load and unload materials using forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes
  • Operate warehouse management systems such as AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
  • Support manufacturing activities including assembly, construction, and equipment maintenance
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move products or materials throughout the facility
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or production area
  • Support warehouse distribution operations by ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery
  • Assist with load & unload activities for various shipments and deliveries
  • Collaborate with team members on order fulfillment, packaging, and inventory management

Skills

  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and systems
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms
  • Warehouse experience in distribution, shipping & receiving, or manufacturing environments
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Knowledge of order picking, packaging, and load & unload procedures
  • Experience with warehouse safety protocols and heavy equipment operation
  • Construction or industrial background is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Pay: $17.85-$31.33 per hour
