Job Summary

Are you passionate about combining music and science to help children grow, learn, and connect? At Growing Minds, we're expanding our team to include a Music ABA Therapist — a creative clinician who uses rhythm, melody, and structured behavioral teaching to support communication, emotional regulation, and social skills in children and youth

Duties

  • The Music ABA Therapist will:
  • Integrate music-based activities into ABA therapy sessions to teach language, play, and social engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with BCBAs, Clinical Supervisors, and Senior Therapists to ensure programming aligns with individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based ABA strategies (reinforcement, prompting, task analysis, data collection).
  • Conduct 1:1 and small-group sessions that target communication, imitation, joint attention, and emotion expression through music.
  • Record and analyze session data to track progress and generalization.
  • Participate in team meetings, parent training, and clinic events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Music Therapy, ABA, or related field.
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection methods (training provided if needed).
  • Strong musical background (instrumental or vocal).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certification in Music Therapy (MT-BC) or RBT considered an asset.
