Who We Are Looking For:

As a Millwright, you'll become an integral part of an exceptional team dedicated to maintaining and repairing manufacturing machinery at the utmost level of reliability while focusing on safety and cost-effectiveness, ensuring efficient operations.

Hours: Two Week Shift Rotation: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

This position requires on call responsibilities. Evening shift premiums available.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Compliance: adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Maintain Manufacturing Equipment:

• Diagnose and repair machinery and equipment.
• Perform machine electrical diagnosis on motors, sensors, wiring, and control systems to identify electrical faults.
• Perform inspections; preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency machine breakdowns.

Equipment Installation and Setup:

• Install, move, align, setup machinery ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate with production and engineering.

Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for improvements.

Training employees on safe and efficient operation of machinery.

Key Competencies:

• Able to communicate clearly in English.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft, Excel).
• Able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyers.
• Familiar with electrical systems and diagnosis.
• Must be willing to work from heights, confined spaces and other conditions; able to lift heavy objects as required.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic; ability to join and contribute to a high performing team.
• Self-directed and motivated.
• Sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Experience & Education:

• Journeyman/Red Seal Millwright preferred but equivalent certification accepted.
• Class 5 drivers license required.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Woodworking machinery experience is an asset.
• Forklift license is an asset, training provided.
