Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Housekeeping Manager to oversee all cleaning and maintenance operations within our hospitality facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in hotel housekeeping, floor care, and operational leadership, with a clear focus on delivering exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.

This role is responsible for leading the housekeeping team, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both guests and associates. The position also offers an opportunity to be involved in a broader operational scope, including collaboration with front office operations and reporting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality standards.
  • Oversee cleaning activities including general cleaning, floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial tasks.
  • Train and evaluate staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective management.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs and guest expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to janitorial and industrial cleaning practices.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and performance issues within the housekeeping department.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management within hospitality or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, janitorial practices, and custodial operations.
  • Experience with hotel housekeeping operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop efficient workflows.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial cleaning environments is preferred.
