Position: Front of House

Status: Full time, 35-40 hours/week

Location: Hastings, ON

We welcome an energetic, hard-working, problem-solving and detail-oriented person to join our small, dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for craft beer and a willingness to learn.

Primary Responsibilities

• Greet customers and positively promote Focal Brewing Co.
• Educate consumers about craft beer.
• Take orders and serve customers.
• Process payments for beer and other purchased items through POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized space.
• Complete start-of-shift and end-of-shift procedures.
• Deliver a positive and outgoing personality.

Requirements

• Must be age 18+.
• Must poses a valid Smart Serve certificate and Food Handlers certificate.
• Have strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers and owners in a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to open and close brewery when needed.
• Assist with packaging product.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
• Able to stand and work for up to 8-12 hours.
• Available to work evenings and weekends.
• Occasionally work with the events team when required.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
