Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of financial management at CFT Recycling. This is a critical leadership role responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls, while leading and developing our accounting team. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong people skills, proven financial expertise, and the ability to provide strategic insights that support the company's growth and success.

This role offers a salary range of $110,000–$150,000, based on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare and analyze P&L statements and provide financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Manage daily accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and the general ledger
  • Develop and manage the organization's annual budget and ongoing financial forecasts.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to guide strategic planning, improve efficiency, and manage costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent designation is strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of accounting and financial management experience, including leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, P&L reporting, and audit processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a small accounting team.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills.
