MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints or instructions;
  • Check the dimensions and conformity of parts before assembly and welding work;
  • Clean and polish parts to be welded if necessary;
  • Plan the sequence of part assembly;
  • Adjust, assemble, and secure structures using bolts, clamps, spot welding, or other methods;
  • Select and set up welding equipment (gas);
  • Weld, brush, grind, and polish welding excesses;
  • Inspect the quality and penetration of welds and make corrections if necessary;
  • Apply occupational health and safety rules;
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
  • Perform any other related duties.
