Managing Director / Boutique Director

Luxury Private Client Retail | Toronto (On-site)

Originalluxury is a Toronto-based luxury boutique operating a VIP private shopping and appointment-only model, serving high-value clients across in-store, virtual, and digital channels.

We are seeking a Managing Director / Boutique Director to lead performance, execution, and growth as we scale a modern, client-driven luxury business.

The Role

This is a senior operating leadership role with full accountability for commercial performance across multiple channels.

You will lead and coordinate a dedicated team, supported by internal specialists and remote partners.

You will work closely with the founding family on brand vision and buying strategy, while independently owning day-to-day execution and results.

Channels Under Your Leadership

You will oversee and manage teams and specialists across the following channels:

  • VIP private shopping (in-store & virtual)
  • Boutique showroom operations
  • E-commerce platform (with a dedicated remote manager)
  • Digital marketing & client communication channels

(social media, CRM, WhatsApp, email, campaigns)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own revenue targets across private client, boutique, and online channels
  • Lead and manage:
  • VIP Private Shoppers
  • Operations Manager
  • Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager
  • Remote E-commerce & Performance Marketing partner
  • Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operations
  • Drive inventory turnover, pricing, and sell-through strategy
  • Maintain luxury service standards and brand consistency
  • Deliver clear weekly and monthly performance reporting

Who You Are

  • 8+ years experience in luxury retail or premium lifestyle brands
  • Proven leadership of multi-channel retail teams
  • Strong commercial and inventory management skills
  • Confident, structured decision-maker
  • Comfortable working with founders and leading independently

Menswear experience: preferred but not mandatory

Location: Toronto / GTA (on-site)

Compensation: Competitive base + performance bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
