Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Health care aide/Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our clients out of their private homes with personal care and daily activities and provide emotional support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and toileting

  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including using a lift to transfer clients

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals under care

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members

Skills

  • Experience in home care, patient care, or caregiving is preferred

  • Knowledge of assisted living or nursing home procedures is a plus

  • Ability to lift and move patients safely when required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and their families

  • Understanding of hospice care principles is advantageous
