WeAreWSPWhat you can expect to do here:
- Perform geotechnical investigations for buildings, highways, bridges, retaining walls, slope stability, and municipal infrastructure.
- Coordinate and carry out field reviews, supervise drill rigs and excavators, log boreholes, and conduct soil sampling and material testing.
- Assist senior engineers in preparing proposals and technical reports.
- Apply geotechnical engineering analysis to support safe and sustainable designs.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological Engineering, or a geoscience program.
- Valid Canadian driver's license and willingness to travel to remote worksites for multi-day assignments.
- Interest in geotechnical and geological fields, with a preference for prior geo-engineering experience in Canada (not essential).
- Comfortable working under senior direction and collaborating in diverse environments.
Compensation
Salary range (in British Columbia): $ $32.25
The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. The salary range provided in this job posting may be subject to change for business purposes.
