You will manage BI projects end-to-end, partner closely with business teams to define KPIs, and lead an offshore BI team to ensure high-quality, timely execution. With hands-on Tableau expertise and strong SQL skills, you will directly shape dashboards, reporting standards, and data governance practices that support informed decision-making.
Global Team Oversight: This role supports and manages a team based in India, with familiarity in Indian business culture and offshore team experience preferred; Hindi language skills are a plus.
The Basics:
- Location: Remote, (Canada-based candidates only)
- Compensation: CAD $130,000-$170,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential
- Travel: Up to 10%
- Reports To: Director, Business Intelligence

What You'll Do:
- Lead end-to-end BI and data projects, from requirements gathering through final delivery
- Lead and mentor the BI team based in India, driving alignment, quality, and on-time execution
- Oversee data validation, quality checks, and governance to maintain reliable and trusted reporting
- Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and performance reports
- Collaborate with ETL and engineering teams to support and optimize data pipelines
- Partner with business stakeholders to define KPIs, translate business needs into BI solutions, and communicate progress and updates
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive best practices across BI operations
- Apply strong project management discipline to prioritize work, manage dependencies, and deliver results consistently
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in BI, analytics, or data management roles
- 3+ years in a BI leadership or managerial position
- Strong project management experience leading data and BI initiatives
- Proven Tableau expertise, including hands-on dashboard development and optimization
- High SQL proficiency, including complex joins and data transformations
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, templates)
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data governance
- Strong Business Requirements Documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- High English proficiency, including reading, writing, and verbal communication
Required Qualifications:
- Tableau certifications
- Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouse platforms
- Background in financial or sales data analytics
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies
