Director of Sales and Marketing

Solicits, develops, maintains, and negotiates business from new and existing accounts to achieve defined goals and targets.
The successful individual will be responsible for ensuring that all sales goals and strategies are achieved for the assigned Market Segments. Also, ensuring a seamless transition from the point of booking the business to the point of execution in order to ensure clients' expectations are exceeded.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have previous experience in Sales and preferably in Hospitality Sales
- Proactively solicit and qualify existing and new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals
- Prepare sales reports and quarterly action plans and attend regular sales meetings
- Self-motivated, decisive, responsible and driven to achieve goals
- Promptly send proposals, contracts and other sales correspondence
- Accurately confirm all bookings, quotes and negotiate rates while adhering to hotel rate structure, credit policies and general hotel policies and procedures
- Maintain an up -to-date accurate client file, database and tracking system
- Must have the flexibility to travel for work purposes, including the potential for overnight stays for trade shows and events
- A diploma or degree in Business or Sales & Marketing is preferred
- A valid driver's license is required for traveling purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills and experience with OPERA
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Holiday Inn Express Inn & Suites- Toronto Airport West is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing Manager . The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for leading the sales team and will also be responsible for developing and executing the company's sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong understanding of the Hospitality industry, and a willingness to learn new skills.
Duties include but are not limited to:
··Develop and maintain relationships with Clients
·Work with Clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
·Manage the sales process from start to finish including closing deals, generating leads, market research, product knowledge, pricing, inventory management, lead generation, customer service, etc.
·Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners
Other duties as assigned.
