We are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager to join our team. As a Manager, you bring your CPA designation and extensive expertise in assurance, compilation, tax and consulting services, coupled with strong leadership capabilities as proven by leading a team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to lead engagements, develop client relationships, and foster the growth of your team, all while progressing toward senior leadership positions within the firm. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and manage engagements, ensuring all work meets professional and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, feedback, and performance evaluations to support team members' development.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with CAS, GAAP, ASNPO, ASPE and PSAS.
  • Guide the team in addressing complex accounting and assurance issues, ensuring practical and client-focused solutions. 
  • Provide clients with high-quality tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
  • Research and analyze complex tax and assurance issues, communicating solutions using practical and understandable language.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through exceptional service and communication.
  • Identify opportunities to provide value to clients through additional service offerings.
  • Monitor team workload and engagement budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by participating in recruiting initiatives and delivering internal training sessions.

What You Bring to the Role

  • CPA designation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public practice, including at a manager level.
  • Strong technical knowledge of CAS, GAAP, ASNPO, ASPE and PSAS with practical experience in Caseware and financial reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple engagements effectively, balancing client expectations and team deliverables.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills, motivating teams to achieve results.
  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of risk assessment, materiality, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other audit tools and technology. 
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on fostering team cohesion and individual development. 
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with changes in accounting and assurance standards.
