About the role:

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

Reporting to the Manager, Stroke, Neurology, Cardiac Diagnostics & Cardiac Rehab, the Cardio Technician ‑ ECG is

responsible for completing Electrocardiograms (ECG's) for both inpatients and outpatients in all areas of the hospital.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

* Current certification in BCLS

* Lead II Interpretation Course

Skills/Abilities:

* Demonstrated regular attendance

* Excellent interpersonal communication skills (electronic, oral and written)

* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an interprofessional team environment

* Demonstrated computer literacy with Electronic Medical Records (Meditech) and PACS applications including GE

MUSE.

* Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness.

* Excellent problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking skills

* Excellent organizational and time management skills

Assets:

* 12 Lead ECG course/training

* Additional education in Cardiology or medical field

Salary Range: $32.590 to 37.260
