Job Responsibilities:

Present a smart, visible, and alert security presenceGreet, assist, and direct members of the public visiting the premisesEnsure all staff, visitors, and vendors are following the protocols for YGK AirportAssist visitors as necessary with wayfinding as requiredProactive, consistent patrols inside and outside the airportAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the utmost professionalismStrong interpersonal skills, flexible, and customer service orientedRemain calm and effectively perform in emergency situationsAble to understand and follow specific instructions and proceduresReport writing and note takingAccess control for restricted areas of the propertyAdditional job duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Security License for Ontario Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor) VSC and CRJMC 6 months or newer Able to sit/stand for extended periods of time Able to complete extensive patrolling of site Proficient English communication (oral and written) required Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)  Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position  Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability  Complete mandatory onboarding and training with Paladin in Kingston, with ongoing training & development as directed by Paladin Management or the clientLegally authorized to work in Canada
