Salary range (but not limited to):
94, ,200Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
Our team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Expat Tax Advisor to join our dynamic Global Mobility team based in Montreal.
What you'll do here:
SME and main point of contact for tax related matters for all expats.
Conduct initial tax briefings.
Perform budget analysis and calculate accruals for expatriate-related costs to support the finance team.
Coordinate and monitor all shadow payroll and local payroll expat activities alongside tax provider and local payroll teams in all jurisdictions Issue payroll instructions, including gross-up calculations.
Prepare year-end tax reporting and make required adjustments, consolidating data from payroll and benefits outside payroll.
Review, evaluate tax provider guidance and make recommendations.
Assess business travel tax compliance obligations, identify risks, and recommend mitigation actions.
Estimate tax costs for all pre-assignments.
Manage coordination of tax return filings across multiple jurisdictions.
Complete and process tax forms and waivers (e.g., TD4, T1213, Certificates of Coverage), ensuring appropriate documentation and filing.
What you bring to the table:
University degree in finance, business administration, accounting or a related field, or a combination of relevant experience and education
5+ years of experience in a similar role related to Tax, Payroll Expatriation, Immigration, Relocation and Global mobility
Strong knowledge of immigration, individual tax and international payroll
Professional designation CPA
Ability to work effectively in situations involving simultaneous demands and rapid change
High degree of autonomy and resourcefulness
Rigorous, attention to detail and organized
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information and exercises great discretion
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bilingualism (French and English) is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
